Look what I found!!!

I was so excited when I went down back in my yard today and found this pussy willow bush! See the one that is thick & curled? I love that! My friend has a landscaping business and last spring she made some pots with these, and I had never seen them before. They are so much more interesting than the tiny branches you can get off the bigger trees. Imagine my surprise when I found them in my own back yard. I had no idea they were there, and we have been here for almost 6 years now. Weird, huh?

Well, thanks for listening, I had to share, I was so excited!

  2. Wow! Now that is something to get excited about. Your pussy willow clippings are sure to make for great decor in your home. What a fun find! The only things growing in my backyard are weeds that are dangerously close to being taller than my children. 🙂

So glad that you joined SITS. Wonderful network and allowed me to discover your great, great blog.

  4. Gorgeous!! I cut and forced some forsythia a couple weeks back, but I can’t bring myself to toss the now leafed branches. Might just have to keep them around for a little bit longer – maybe for the Easter Egg Tree?

    Wonderful blog!

    Welcome to SiTS!! Em
